2019 Children of Incarcerated Parents National Conference

The National Children of Incarcerated Parents Conference is a unique opportunity to gather, share best practices and engage in action planning. Be a part of plenaries, panels, workshops, and other presentation formats addressing:

  • Connecting children & incarcerated parents through family supportive visits and communication
  • Innovations in research across disciplines
  • Capacity building across systems

    All tracks will highlight race, gender, and lived experiences. 
    This conference will benefit anyone who supports children and families affected by incarceration.

New York Initiative for Children of Incarcerated Parents partners Vivett Dukes, Allison Hollihan, and Whitney Hollins will facilitate a panel on Monday, April 15 entitled "Nothing About Us Without Us: Families Informing Policy and Moving Hearts and Minds".
