Ending money bail, transforming the criminal justice system, and closing the dysfunctional Rikers jail complex are moral imperatives for our city and state. People of faith have played a key role in the progress that has been made so far. Your voices will be especially important in the months to come, when there is a real opportunity to pass bail reform and other key priorities in Albany now that the political landscape has changed.
The event is a faith leader breakfast on bail reform and closing Rikers. Trinity Church is partnering with MoreJustNYC (Lippman Commission) for this event.
