Capitalizing on Justice is a special exhibit featuring the works of incarcerated artists from across the nation who are lending their voice to the fight against the prison industrial complex. Curated by Kimberly Drew, Dwayne Betts, Jesse Krimes, Nicole Fleetwood, and Ché Morales.
The evening will be filled with art and advocacy, including a panel discussion with renown artists Jesse Krimes and Russell Craig. While incarcerated himself, Craig was mentored by James "Yaya" Hough, one of the exhibit's gold award winning artists and the artist behind the exhibit's flyer below. Join on the opening night tonight to hear about what it means to be an artist on the inside and to see the incredible works of 32 of them.
