Please join HBO and the Osborne Association for a very special screening of "The Sentence," a moving and compelling documentary film that speaks directly to the realities of the criminal justice system that Osborne works every day to address.  The screening will be followed by a Q&A featuring the filmmaker, some members of his family, and our very own Liz Gaynes.

The recognized as an Audience Award winning documentary at its 2018 Sundance Film Festival debut, The Sentence provides an accurate, behind-the-scenes look at the impacts of mandatory minimum sentencing.  The film chronicles the heartrending experience of the filmmaker's sister, Cindy Shank, a mother of three, who received a 15-year mandatory sentence for conspiracy charges related to her deceased ex-boyfriend's crimes.

The event has limited seating, but for more information and to see if seats are still available, please email Pauline Stanfiel at pstanfiel@osborneny.org.
