Osborne's Ride For Rights

What:

On July 16, Osborne’s Children, Youth, and Family Services and Youth Action Council will host Ride for Rights. Our Youth Action Council is a group of 15 – 18 year olds whose mission is to raise awareness about the effect of parental incarceration on children, and create positive changes in the criminal justice system in order to improve the lives of the many children affected by their parent’s criminal justice involvement. Members of the YAC will lead a 1.54-mile Prospect Park bike ride to honor the bravery and resilience and lift up the stories of the 2.7 million children with incarcerated parents in the United States. Incarceration does not stop a child’s love, and we stand—and ride—to support and protect the rights of all children.
