Reuven Blau's piece in the Daily News highlights the obstacles for elders behinds bars and when they return home, while painting a clear picture of the urgent need for policy change in New York. Cindt Rodriguez from WNYC interviewed Liz and highlighted the report through the day and there was a short summary of the report on Buffalo’s public radio affiliate, WBFO. The Associated Press piece was picked up in more than 30 publications, with additional television news broadcasts throughout the day from stations in the Bronx, Albany, Rochester, and Binghamton-Syracuse.
