Who We Are

Training to Work provides men and women on work release the opportunity to expand their education and increase their employment skills in today’s fastest growing fields: construction, waste management, food service and other industries.


What We Offer

  • 4 weeks of career preparedness training followed by opportunities for academic advancement, job placement services, mentoring, and additional training opportunities.
  • Interview preparation and wardrobe assistance upon graduation
  • Participants may enroll in classes to prepare for the TASC exam for a high school equivalency diploma or a college program and training that leads to industry recognized credentials in fields that allow for long term career growth and advancement.
  • You must have a strong personal commitment to attending and participating in classes, mentoring, and training.
  • Metrocards as well as breakfast and lunch provided daily!

Class hours are from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm, Monday through Thursday.

TABE test and orientation are Monday, Tuesday and Friday at 9:30 am.
