Osborne’s 2023 Policy Priorities
Osborne’s Center for Justice Across Generations (OCJAG) shares our 2023 policy priorities to advance community-based, equitable solutions to the harms of incarceration.
Osborne’s Center for Justice Across Generations (OCJAG) has released our 2023 policy agenda for New York State and New York City.
It is an action plan to address critical issues facing the people we serve in jails and prisons and their children and families. These priorities move us closer to realizing our goals of investing in healing-centered and community-based solutions, building equitable and inclusive communities, and improving conditions inside for those who live, work, and visit prisons and jails.
As we work to divert and release as many people as possible from jail and prison, and to protect bail reform and existing pre-trial reforms, we advocate for legislation and change in policies in three key areas:
•Children and Families
•Aging and Parole Justice
•Housing
