One in 14 children and young teens in the United States have experienced the incarceration of a parent. Drawing on her personal experience, Anna Tovchigrechko shares how her experience of parental incarceration inspired her work to raise awareness about the stigma young people face, advocate for schools to provide resources for them, and create environments of support and understanding.
