The Osborne Center for Justice Across Generations (OCJAG) is proud to announce the release of our 2025 Policy agenda for New York State and New York City.

This comprehensive policy document outlines our legislative priorities aimed at advancing restorative, healing-centered approaches to justice, strengthening communities, and creating pathways for all individuals to thrive.

Our 2025 agenda prioritizes bills that highlight four critical areas of our advocacy: decriminalization and decarceration; children and families; housing; and aging and parole justice. These priorities are grounded in our commitment to:

  • expanding community-based resources, services, and solutions rather than carceral, punitive responses that perpetuate harm;
  • building equity and inclusion, and dismantling structural racism;
  • Improving conditions inside prisons and jails for those who live in, work in, and visit them, including maintaining and strengthening relationships between incarcerated people and their families and community.
