We are incredibly fortunate to have Archana’s energy and deep commitment to improving the lives of New Yorkers affected by incarceration. Archana arrives at Osborne with a wealth of experience in criminal justice advocacy, including leadership positions at The Legal Aid Society, the New York City Department of Correction, the Department of Buildings, and SCO Family of Services.

Throughout her 20 year career in public service, she has been dedicated to criminal justice reform and improving public access to vital services. Prior to joining Osborne in April 2022, she served in leadership positions at The Legal Aid Society, the New York City Department of Correction, the Department of Buildings, and SCO Family of Services.

In her most recent role as Chief Operating Officer of Legal Aid Society, she was responsible for leading all operations and administrative functions including Finance, Human Resources, IT, Development, Facilities, and Shared Services teams along with special projects and initiatives. As the Deputy Commissioner of Strategic Planning at the NYC Department of Buildings, Archana launched DOB NOW, the online hub for all NYC Department of Buildings transactions, and led the implementation of the agency’s strategic plan.

While at the NYC Department of Correction, Archana created and launched the Individualized Correction Achievement Network (I-CAN) and the Adolescent Behavioral Learning Experience while serving as Associate Commissioner of Programs. She prioritized people in need of reentry and youth services. Archana also ran the rehousing initiative for homeless families while working as an Urban Fellow at the NYC Department of Homeless Services.

Archana is a graduate of Columbia Business School and the University of Pennsylvania.
