Safe and Stable Housing

The right to safe housing is at the heart of Osborne’s work. Across the agency, Osborne enables people in our programs to find and remain in stable, secure housing, while also working to expand the housing available to people coming home from jail and prison.

Our innovative “Kinship Reentry Housing” pilot program removes financial barriers faced by families seeking to welcome formerly incarcerated members into their homes. And we have partnered with affordable housing developers, to open our new supportive housing program, Marcus Garvey. The housing program provides new apartments and needed wrap-around services for people who are reentering the community from incarceration and who would otherwise be homeless or unstably housed.
