Our sincere gratitude to the OJP Bureau of Justice Assistance for announcing their FY22 Second Chance Grant Awards at our Marcus Garvey supportive housing complex in Brooklyn on Wednesday. Following BJA Director Karhlton Moore’s announcement, two Marcus Garvey residents, V. del Rio and Lonett Williams took part in a panel discussion focusing on the impact of reentry services for people coming home from incarceration. The panel was led by Second Chance Fellows John Bae and Angel Sanchez.

Osborne will use funds from the FY22 Second Chance Grant award to support our innovative, wraparound reentry services at the soon-to-open Fulton Community Reentry Center.

As Osborne President & CEO Archana Jayaram said during the event: “We are deeply grateful to BJA for their practice of investing in what’s possible. We can’t wait to see what’s next.”
