Living Well

Osborne works to prevent HIV and Hepatitis-C (HCV) transmission and to support the health and stability of people living with HIV/AIDS.

In several New York State prisons, we offer HIV and HCV testing, counseling, and prevention education. We train incarcerated people to be health ambassadors, who lead efforts to educate their peers, reduce stigma, and promote inclusion. From our South Bronx site, Osborne offers discharge planning and reentry services to HIV-positive people returning to that borough. We link participants to medical care provided by community partners we know well. We offer support in finding and staying in secure housing and in maintaining PreP, PEP, and treatment regimens.
